 Operation Care Package – Christmas Packages for our Troops Overseas

For the 2018 Christmas Season, the Leisure Knoll Veterans is proud to announce that we will be supplying 9 ships and 350 sailors.

The Leisure Knoll Veterans Club is proud to participate in Operation Care Package which sends supplies and sundries to our troops serving our country proudly in Bahrain.  For more information on this event, please contact Phil Falzarano at 480-332-2067.  Thank you in advance for your support for this worthwhile event.

                                                         

Special Guest Speaker for Veterans Day Ceremony

We are honored to have a Special Guest Speaker, Lt. Colonel Elizabeth Sweeney of the New Hampshire Air Guard will speak on behalf of her father. Major General James Sweeney, who was one of the pilots who delivered the Atomic Bomb over Nagasaki in World War II.  Please join us to honor ALL veterans past and present on Veterans Day, November 11, 2017.  The ceremony begins at 11:00 am.

 

 

MISSION STATEMENT 

The Leisure Knoll Veterans Club is a patriotic veteran’s organization dedicated to mutual helpfulness among its members,  committed to advocating patriotism and honor for all veterans within the community, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to fellow service members and veterans, past, present and future.


Established
in 2012, the Leisure Knoll Veterans Club is open to all VETERANS residing in the Leisure Knoll Community who have served in the United States Armed Forces.  Our club currently exists of members from World War II, Korean War and Vietnam Wars.  Our club consists of both Female and Male members.

Our Motto is:         Honoring the Brotherhood of Veterans

Meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month, usually at 7:00 P.M. in the Lakeside Lodge.

Our Honor Guard is available to provide a solemn ceremony for a deceased veteran regardless if they were a member of the club, or not.There is no charge for this service.
